Your credit score is a number that reflects how you manage credit. Based on the information in your credit report and your borrowing history, it gives an indication of how lenders may view your creditworthiness — in other words, how likely they think you are to repay money you borrow.
Remember, a high credit score doesn’t guarantee you’ll be accepted for every product you apply for, and a lower score doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be turned down. The final decision is up to the financial product provider.
TransUnion in the UK doesn’t provide credit scores directly to consumers. Instead, we partner with 50+ businesses, such as banks, lenders and comparison sites, that deliver these services to you. We power the consumer credit score data, tools and insights.
